I am glad that you have taken the step to consider seeking support. I am available to be of assistance on your journey. I think of myself as a navigator or co-pilot. You are driving, I am just here to help get you to your destination. Making the decision to begin therapy can be incredibly difficult. I hope to create a safe and welcoming space so that you are able to be your most authentic self. I am excited to take this journey with you.

My Approach

No matter the presenting concern, building a trusting relationship between client and therapist is paramount for successful treatment. First and foremost, I focus on establishing a supportive, non-hierarchical relationship with each client. I believe clients get the most out of therapy by gaining a sense of agency over their experience, both in and out of treatment. Goals are established based on the client’s needs, wants, and unique characteristics. I hope that clients will feel empowered by our work together.

My Scope

I currently offer sessions in-person or via telehealth. My practice is not suitable for clients in need of intensive outpatient and frequent after-hours care. Dr. Patterson-Siekirk participates in PsyPact, therefore, she is able to offer telehealth services in all PsyPact participating states. Visit psypact.org for a list of participating states.

I have experience treating adults with a myriad of presenting concerns, including depression and anxiety. Also, I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) with additional expertise in treating trauma, especially sexual violence and reproductive trauma. I offer EMDR for trauma both in-person and via telehealth. Other particular interests of mine include perfectionism, family of origin concerns, and rural mental health concerns. I have a particular interest and experience working with college students. I work with client populations ages 18+.
